The Foundation also demonstrates its international spirit through moments of sharing among doctors, researchers, and families of patients with CHOPS syndrome. On July 19 and 20, 2024, the Foundation served as the initiator and organizer of the CHOPS symposium held at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the centre where CHOPS syndrome was discovered.
Fifteen families from around the world, 17 oral presentations by doctors, researchers, and experts, and a total of 70 participants.
