Rare Diseases: Research, Care and Solidarity. A Concrete Commitment for the Future

๐Ÿ“…ย February 28, 2025 โ€“ International Rare Disease Day
๐Ÿ“ย Sala Mattarella, Palazzo dei Normanni, seat of the Sicilian Regional Assembly, Palermo
๐Ÿ’ปย Conference in-person and online

Rare diseases affect over 300 million people worldwide, and 2 million in Italy, but they are often unknown or neglected. We are committed at the forefront to change this and we are aware that every step toward research and care is essential for those living rare conditions.
On the International Rare Disease Day we choose to make our voice heard by organising a conference that brings together experts from the medical and scientific fields and organisations of patients from all over Italy. This event is not only a moment for reflection, but a concrete opportunity to promote scientific innovation, explore therapeutic pathways, and highlight the central role of no profit organisations in supporting patients, their families, and research.

๐Ÿคย Join us in this commitment: together we can give a voice to those who must not remain invisible.

Event with the patronage of UNIAMO Federazione Italiana Malattie Rare.
